Sasha Robinson, Principal Interview Coach & Founder

Sasha is the founder of Flightdeck Consulting, dedicated to giving pilots the insider’s edge in their career progression through targeted interview coaching and strategy.

With over 30 years in aviation as an international pilot on the Airbus A330/A340, Sasha’s authority comes from a rare dual perspective: she has not only sat in the interview chair but has also seen the process from the inside, having worked within the recruitment department at Cathay Pacific. This experience is the cornerstone of Flightdeck’s methodology, providing clients with authentic insight into how airlines truly evaluate candidates.

She is the author of The Complete Airline Pilot Interview Workbook and specialises in translating complex career pathways into clear, confident interview narratives.

Cath Davies, Principal Interview Coach

Cath has worked in the Aviation Industry for 35 years starting her aviation career in General Aviation, Cath moved into regional airlines and then domestic and international airline operations. She has flown the Boeing B737, Boeing B767 and the Airbus A330 and she holds a Bachelor of Aviation attained at Western Sydney University. Cath continues to work within the industry through a number of Government initiatives as a job skills workshop facilitator and aviation mentor.

Cath is also a photographer and has maintained her skills and interest in the arts attaining several qualifications in the profession.

Lloyd, Principal Interview Coach

Lloyd is a current F/O on wide body A350/A330 types. Masters of Aviation Management and five years Army officer training. Taking a more philosophical leadership coaching approach to developing candidate strengths and skills.

Lloyd specializes in guiding individuals on how to translate their command experience into the context of human resources, utilizing principles from doctrinal leadership science. He helps individuals convert their leadership skills from the flight deck into qualities sought by interviewers for future Captain positions.

His expertise spans across Australian, Middle Eastern, and Asiana carriers, including QANTAS, Jetstar, QANTAS Link, Emirates, Qatar Airways, Cathay Pacific, Air New Zealand, and the Australian Defence Force employment process. Additionally, he has extensive experience in preparing test pilots, assisting with pre-command assessment, and coaching senior pilots for their Head of/Flying Operations (HOO/HOFO) CASA interviews.
